What this covers
This policy covers the AutoMotive3D Android app ("the App", package
com.automotive3d.app) and this website, automotive3d.ca.
The App
The App collects no personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, and nothing to fill in.
- Builds and settings are stored on the device, in the App's own storage. They are not sent anywhere, and uninstalling the App deletes them.
- No analytics, no crash reporting, no ads, no tracking. The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and shares no data with anyone.
- No in-app purchases.
Permissions
The App requests one Android permission: Internet. The app framework it is built on declares it. The App makes no network requests of its own while you use it and sends no data about you.
Links out of the App
Some screens link to other sites: the other apps in the 3D family, and, when they are switched on, Buy links to parts retailers. Tapping one opens that site in your browser. From then on you are on the retailer's site, under the retailer's own privacy policy, not this one.
Buy links may carry an affiliate tag. That tag tells the retailer the visit came from AutoMotive3D, so AutoMotive3D may earn a commission on a purchase. The tag identifies the App, not you. The App sends the retailer nothing about you or your builds.
This website
automotive3d.ca has no sign-in, no forms, no analytics and no advertising cookies. It is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard request information, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use that information to build a profile of anyone.
Children
Neither the App nor the website is directed at children under 13, and neither knowingly collects personal data from anyone, children included.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the Play Store listing links here.
